December4th, 2012, Cardiff: Cardiff CASC Training (CCT) held its second session of CASC training event in Sports&Social Club, University Hospital of Wales Cardiff. The event was attended by more than 60 people including consultants, specialist registrars, candidates and Actors.
The Day commenced with the registration process and an introductory talk about the CASC Exam and Cardiff CASC Training.The candidates were given a folder with all the required information. The outline of the Day was planned and engineered by the CCT core committee members

There were Specialist Registrars (Higher Trainees) present at the occasion that played key role in organization of the Day. The Specialist Registrars who attended the occasion were:

There were individual inductions sessions held for examiners, candidates and actors.The candidates were divided into two groups matched with circuits A&B.The first half of the mock exam involved linked stations circuit, followed by tea/coffee break.In the second half, the candidates attempted the single stations.The circuits were well managed by a team of circuit managers.There were 13 examiners who attended the Mock CASC Exam:

The mark sheets were given to the candidates followed by the feedback forms and certificates. The day ended with great appreciations from all present for the remarkable initiative by Cardiff CASC Training Committee and for the excellent management of the event.The event was mainly sponsored by the Wales Deanery, along with some contributions from the candidates and pharmaceutical companies Otzuska, Pfizer and Rosemont
